Review of Nicole by Opi Nail Polish: Mis-Magenta Me?

I have one of the biggest crushes on Nicole by Opi Nail Polishes. Whenever I am in a store, any store, it does not even matter what store it is, I find myself being pulled to the beauty section to take a quick peek at their nail colors. While I end up buying colors from numerous companies, 90% of the time I end up walking out with an Opi Polish.

My most recent buy was a splurge, as are all of my nail polish picks. I do not know of Mis-Magenta Me? is a new color, or if I just missed it every single time I went looking for nail colors, because this beautiful deep purple/pink color sticks out and screams for attention. Simply put, it's beautiful.

In the bottle on the shelf the color appears to have super fine grains of silver shimmer in it. On the nail however it spreads out and blends with the magenta color, leaving behind a beautiful metallic flawless sheen on your nails.

I have used metallic colored polishes before, with similar results, but this one dries so quickly that adding another layer is simple and fast, and it dries without flaw.

Personally I never likes pink color on my nails, but this one is more like a purple with a really nice pink sheer. When you move your hands around you have this really neat psychedelic color scheme going on, while light casts pink hues, and purple hues with each subtle movement of the hand.
It goes well with everyday casual wear, and can even be used for formal wear.

I have had it on for 4 days now, and there is no signs of fading or chipping.

Overall:

Mis-Magenta Me? is a beautiful nail color by Nicole by Opi. It's a limited edition color, so if Magenta is your thing, you should try to seek this one out in stores. I found it at Target for a little over $7.00, and although its a bit high, it is well worth the price.
