I am part of an online site where they will send me free items in
exchange for me getting the word out about the product, so once in
awhile I find on my doorstep a mystery box that I am more than thrilled
to slice open to see what is inside. This time I was sent a package
containing a new product by Garnier.
Garnier is one of my top favorite
companies for hair and skin care products, so getting something from
them to try was pretty neat. In the box, a small green and black package
stating it was Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller.
My first reaction was that the product was way too small, however after
opening the package and seeing it, and holding it in my hands I realized
that there was more than enough product inside of the small green
plastic container to last for quite a few months, even with daily use.
Appearance:
Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller
comes in a neat stand up hard green plastic tube. There is a small
black twist off cap. Underneath the cap you have a metal rolling ball,
which is used for easier application.
Promises:
Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller's name alone
basically tells you what it was designed to do. Besides renewing your
skin though it will also reduce fine lines, dark circles, and it will
relax the skin making the area around your eyes look rejuvenated,
bright, and new.
According to the box, your eyes will INSTANTLY look renewed and
refreshed. After one weeks time with daily use your eyes will have
reduced puffiness, and reduced dark circles. Using it for longer will
increase the reduction of dark circles and puffiness.
I so far have been using Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Puff
Eye Roller for around 2 weeks now, and I'm here to talk about my
results... or lack of.
My Use:
First I will say that the metal roller ball is by far my favorite
feature about the product. When I rolled the metal ball across the
surface of my skin it immediately gave off this comforting cooling
sensation that I really liked.
The serum comes through the metal ball and allows you to have complete control over where it is applied. No messes here!
One issue I did have though was having to tip the tube and shake it to
sometimes get the serum to come out of the roller ball. It gets stuck
and won't roll otherwise. Doing this though will waste some of the
serum, because it allows a lot of it to come through when you shake or
squeeze it.
Instant Results?
I wouldn't say so. Even though it was promised I'd have instant
renewed and refreshed eyes, that was far from the truth. I applied and
massaged in with the roller ball a decent amount of the serum, and saw
nothing different.
The serum itself is clear, and although it feels great on your skin,
is oil free, and absorbs really quickly, it didn't do anything magical
in an instant. Scratch off that promise.
After a week of using Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-Puff Eye
Roller, the results were there, and my dark circles were slightly
lessened, but still it was not dramatic and likely I am the only one who
sees a difference because I want to see a difference.
After two weeks though I will say that my dark circles are close to
being written off as gone for good. Improved sleep I am sure added to
the results though. Puffiness is not something I suffer with greatly,
but occasionally I get puffy eyes from a lack of sleep.
Overall:
Although I am not thrilled with the product, it did work slightly at
helping reduce dark circles under my eyes, and if dark circles is
something you suffer with, I'd recommend you give it a try. At $12.99
it's definitely worth trying. Combined with a good sleep pattern this
may work wonders for some.
