La Therapie Masque Hydratant Anti-Rides - Hydrating Anti-Wrinkle Mask for Face and Neck

Awhile back my uncle came into town for a visit, usually when he visits he comes toting large bags or boxes filled with cosmetics, body products and perfumes for my mother and I. He is not rich, but the clients he works for are, and constantly they give him free things that they either never even opened, or barely even used.

It's not uncommon to find a $200 bottle of perfume in these bags, a $400 body cream, or some other delicious high end product that I could not afford even on sale.

In this batch I came across a full tube of La Therapie Masque Hydratant Anti-Rides - Hydrating Anti-Wrinkle Mask for Face and Neck. As usual with the things he brings, this was a company I had never in my life heard of till obtaining the tube.

The mask comes in a 50ML squeeze tube, it is the strangest packaging I have ever seen when it comes to facial masks. Usually facial masks I buy are in the $5.00 range and come in large easy to squeeze bottles with a click up cap.

La Therapie Masque Hydratant Anti-Rides - Hydrating Anti-Wrinkle Mask for Face and Neck however comes in a slender tube, with a twist off cap. Instead of coming out of a large squeeze hole, La Therapie Masque Hydratant Anti-Rides - Hydrating Anti-Wrinkle Mask for Face and Neck has a top that is cone shaped, with a small hole in it.

My Use:

I squeezed some of the cream out of the tube. The color was white, with a glue like texture to it.

Applying it to my face was a little difficult because it does not spread easily at all. According to the directions you only need to use a small amount on your skin, however seeing that it does not spread all that well I had to use a bit more that I anticipated. Still though the result was a thin layer applied on to my neck and face.

Recently I managed to get a pretty bad sun burn, and had a few nasty dried flecks of skin that were not coming off of my face.

Seeing how La Therapie Masque Hydratant Anti-Rides - Hydrating Anti-Wrinkle Mask for Face and Neck promises to be beneficial to aging skin and extremely dry skin, I figured this stuff would work wonders for the dry skin on my face.

As directed I allowed the mask to remain on my face for a full 15 minutes. As time went on the cream began to change from the white color to a clear color. Most masks Ive used in the past usually stay true to their color, La Therapie Masque Hydratant Anti-Rides - Hydrating Anti-Wrinkle Mask for Face and Neck however evaporates into a clear mask, which is cool.

The scent is nothing to go crazy over, in fact it smells quite old fashioned; like hotel bar soap, only more subtle. It's not a bad smell, but at the same time it's not one to fall in love with either.

After waiting the full 15 minutes I then rinsed La Therapie Masque Hydratant Anti-Rides - Hydrating Anti-Wrinkle Mask for Face and Neck off of my face and neck. It came off really easily, and as I rinsed I could feel a very thin layer of something slightly silky on my face. The feeling though was not greasy, so this was a plus. The feeling was a nice feeling, as if my skin were silky soft.

Results:

After rinsing my face sort of felt the same as it always had. Once I patted my skin dry the lovely silkening feeling was gone. My face also did not feel clean or fresh after rinsing which was odd, because most of my $5.00 facial cleansers are able to leave my skin feeling and smelling fresh. La Therapie Masque Hydratant Anti-Rides - Hydrating Anti-Wrinkle Mask for Face and Neck did none of these things.

The most annoying thing about this stuff though was that my dry skin patches were still there in full bloom.

Overall:

La Therapie Masque Hydratant Anti-Rides - Hydrating Anti-Wrinkle Mask for Face and Neck fails to impress me. It's way over priced, and does not even feel like it cleansed my skin. Dry skin was also still present after using the mask.

Pricing and Availability:

La Therapie Masque Hydratant Anti-Rides - Hydrating Anti-Wrinkle Mask for Face and Neck can be fond online in the $60.00 price range. In my opinion skip it and use Queen Helene's facial masques. They are 70 times cheaper, and work a heck of a lot better.
