Making Thin Short Eye Lashes Appear Longer and Thicker Using an Eyelash Curler

In my early teens I had extremely long eye lashes. I never wore mascara. When I began wearing mascara on a daily, I noticed as years went by my long lush lashes vanished. What was left was thin, short and sparse lashes.

For about 6 months I stopped wearing mascara all together, I figured perhaps if I left my lashes alone, they would re-grow into the thick long lashes they once were.

Unfortunately they never grew to that extremely again. No matter what I did, my lashes looked practically invisible; pathetic remnants of what once was full lashes, lashes I got compliments on. Not anymore though, those days were done.

I knew that by using makeup I could create illusions of fuller eyes, but I didn't know what to use to create an illusion of fuller, longer lashes.

My cousin actually came up to me one day while we were working together, and she had always had extremely short lashes, that never stood out. When she stood before me on this day though, I noticed her mega small lashes were now nearly touching the brim of her brows! I had to know what she had done.
My first thought was that her new long sky high perky lashes were fakes. I assumed she went and bought herself one of those annoying glue on kits.

If she told me she used an eyelash kit, I knew I'd never be able to use that technique, because the last time I tried using fake glue on lashes, my eyes lids ended up feeling heavy and fatigued, which was brought on by the small amount of newly added weight from the fakes. Not only that, the heaviness of the lids created a huge headache by mid-afternoon.

When I asked her how she got them so long looking, I was surprised when she told me that she used an eye lash curler!

Now I had always been against curlers because my aunt told me that they would rip all my lashes out!!!

My cousin though swore up and down that these new plastic curlers would do the trick, and they would not rip out any lashes! I ended up purchasing one, which is similar to the curler you can find here.

I got home and attempted to use the new curler, but found that I was afraid to put it close to my lid. Once I got over my fears, and pulled down on the clamp, I held tight for a few seconds and released the curler from my lashes.

In the mirror I noticed immediately that the eye lash curler had made my shorty lashes stick up and look longer and fuller!!!

y cousin told me to then apply a very thin layer of mascara on top to really make the lashes look even fuller and longer. The trick worked like a charm, and I was forever in love with the eyelash curler.

Although my eye lashes have failed to re-grow to the long length they once were, using the curler, and a small amount of mascara really amped these babies up!!! All these years I had avoided eyelash curlers because of what my aunt had told me since childhood, who knew that something as simple as a $3.50 eye lash curler could fix the problem, and not make it worse!?
