Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner

Not too long ago I came across the most delicious coconut scented shampoo, and after falling in love with it's real tropical coconut scent, I assumed immediately that the sister conditioner would smell as equally as delicious.

It did, but it didn't quite work the way I would have liked it to.

Packaging:

Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner comes in the same bland white bottle that the sister shampoo comes in, only you have to read the bottle very carefully to make sure you are not buying the shampoo, because there is nothing noticeably different about the bottles besides the shampoo or conditioner text written on it.

Scent:

I popped open the top in the store and took in the fragrance, and indeed it had that same lovely tropical coconut scent that I absolutely loved. Many haircare products that are labeled coconut scented, actually smell artificial or like sun tan oil, which I hate! Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner though has a very real coconut scent, there is nothing artificial about it.

The Promise:

Like the shampoo, the conditioner packs the same promise. Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner uses ultra whipped egg white protein to strengthen and add elasticity to your hair, while the added coconut oil will hydrate and moisturize.

I however was not after the promises, I was after the delicious natural coconut scent, and my God does Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner pack a real coconut scent!

My Use:

I first rinsed the Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Shampoo from my hair, and then applied a half handful of Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner to it.

The conditioner itself is a bright white color, and is extremely thick. Now normally thick conditioner adds a ton of moisture to my hair, resulting in manageable, beautiful hair when dry.

Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner though was a different story. It easily went into my hair and felt great initially, but as soon as I tried rinsing, it was a different story.

The conditioner in fact was too thick, and even after attempting to rinse it out, my hair still felt weighed down, greasy, and dirty. In order to rid this nastiness from my hair I had to apply a different conditioner, just to allow it to feel clean.

Overall:

I'm not to fond of it. It would result in nothing but a greasy mess on those with thin hair. I have very thick hair, and usually I benefit from extra oils being added. Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner though seems like it contains too much coconut oil, and the ending result is your hair left feeling dirty and weighed down.

I do however think that Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner would be perfect for those with courser hair. It likely would leave hair feeling wonderful.

Where To Buy:

You can pick up a bottle of Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner at just about any superstore, for around $6.99.
