My birthday passed a few days ago, and on my list of things I wanted I
had noted that JLO was coming out with a new fragrance in the Glow
collection called Sun Kissed Glow.
On my list I had just the perfume, but was pleasantly surprised when I
was given both the perfume, and the body lotion. A double duo if
delight!
JLo Sun Kissed Glow Body Lotion comes in a standard squeeze
tube, like all perfumed body lotions come in. A standard click up cap,
with a fancy colorful design to the actual bottle.
Sun Kissed Glow Body Lotion comes with 6.7 ounces of the perfumed
lotion. It is made to smell exactly like the perfume. What I love about
having the perfumed lotion paired with the perfume is that I can layer
the scent for an even longer lasting scent. I will first apply the
lotion, and then spritz away with the perfume.
Sun Kissed Glow Body Lotion does in fact smell exactly like the mouth
watering new perfume, Sun Kissed Glow. It has the high note of musk,
amber, and vanilla. It has a very, very similar scent to Miami Glow,
only there are more fruity notes in the Sun Kissed Glow that are not
found in Miami Glow. The difference though is very, very subtle, and
unless you have Miami Glow on hand to compare it with, you may truly
think that Sun Kissed Glow is Miami Glow.
If you have Miami Glow to compare the new scent with though you will
notice a higher note of coconut and fruit, that kicks the scent up a
small playful notch.
As far as the lotion goes, it is a standard white color, and is
slightly runny compared to what I am used to when it comes to body
lotions. I didn't mind though, because it absorbed fast and left behind
no sticky or greasy residue on my skin.
The scent however gets left behind, lightly dusting your body in the gorgeous beachy fragrance.
The fragrance when it comes to the body lotion though is sort of short
lived which was a disappointment. I like having the scented body
lotions for longer lasting scent, but Sun Kissed Glow Body Lotion only
seems to stick around for a short while. I'd say around 30 minutes till
the scent is no longer detectable.
Overall I'd skip on purchasing Sun Kissed Glow Body Lotion in the
future. I will of course use up the bottle I have now, but seeing that
the scent is so short lived I can't see myself buying a bottle of it,
considering the going price as of now is close to $30.00.
Recommendation:
Skip on the lotion, and only go for the Sun Kissed Glow perfume.
