Review: L'Oreal Skin Genesis Deep Purifying Foaming Cream Cleanser

About a month ago I fell in love with L'Oreals Skin Genesis line of facial/skin care products. Not only did the Skin Genesis products I use keep acne away, it also made my skin look healthier, tighter, and fresh.

The moment I ran out of my Skin Genesis facial wash, I knew I had to re-stock because it seemed the day I ran out, my face began to break out shortly after. I had no idea that it was that effective till I ran out.

I stocked up on the gel cleanser, but also decided to try L'Oreal Skin Genesis- Deep Purifying Foaming Cream Cleanser, which came in a nice pearly pink plastic stand up tube.

In the store I popped open the click up cap and took in a sniff. Yep, delicious. L'Oreal Skin Genesis- Deep Purifying Foaming Cream Cleanser had the same awesome melted cherry lollipop scent that I loved!

The Promise:

According to the back of the package, using L'Oreal Skin Genesis- Deep Purifying Foaming Cream Cleanser will cleanse skin, and gently exfoliate thanks to the micorobeads and purifying clay. The performance will also be optimized by using this with your Skin Genesis regime.

My Use:

I popped open the top, squeezed a bit of the formula out into my palms and got to scrubbing. I added a little bit of water to the formula just so it would be easier to spread it around my face while scrubbing.
The micro-beads can be felt when scrubbing, but they are as promised; gentle.

The cleanser itself has a pale white color to it, and it is a bit thick in consistency. It sort of reminded me of toothpaste when it came to its texture. It's not a bad feeling, but it is much thicker than cleansers I have used in the past. I imagined the thickness was due to the fact that clay was added to the cleanser, as well as micro-beads.

While cleansing that gorgeous melted lollipop scent filled my bathroom, and honestly the scent alone could sell this cleanser, because it lasts for quite some time after rinsing.

Speaking of rinsing, L'Oreal Skin Genesis- Deep Purifying Foaming Cream Cleanser rinses easily, and does not leave behind any residue or odd feeling to your skin. It does however leave your face feeling clean, fresh, rejuvenated and very, very soft. This clean fresh feeling will last for around 2 hours, which is nice and very long lasting compared to others.

Overall:

Since using L'Oreal Skin Genesis- Deep Purifying Foaming Cream Cleanser, my skin has stayed acne free, and it even looks tighter and younger. I highly, highly recommend L'Oreal Skin Genesis- Deep Purifying Foaming Cream Cleanser to those who are looking for the same. Fresh, clean, young, and blemish free skin. (The scent is pretty killer too!)

Where To Find:

You can pick up a tube of L'Oreal Skin Genesis- Deep Purifying Foaming Cream Cleanser at any Walmart for just under $8.00. It's well worth it in my opinion.
