I had been meaning to try Lushes Playdoze Bubble Bar the moment the
green odd shaped bar hit their website. I knew with Christmas around the
corner, it would be something on the wish list.
After being given a $200 limit as a gift, I knew I'd be using the
money to order things from Lush. Playdoze was of course, one of the
bubble bars I ordered.
What intrigued me so much about Playdoze was it's odd shape. Playdoze
is rolled out in a way that children would begin to roll out a piece o
clay before sculpting their clay dough work of art.
The color itself is more of a neon green, and uses lavender and fennel
to relax kids of all ages.
Although the description in total failed to
impress me, I still went ahead with the purchase.
When Playdoze arrived, it looked exactly like the bubble bar shown on the Lush.com website. For a look click here.

  Scent:

I was not in love with the scent Playdoze gave off but I also didn't hate it.
Playdoze Bubble Bar had a very weak scent that reminded me of the
smell of dried out beach seaweed, with a mix of sugar. I did not at all
smell any lavender as described.
  My Use:

Before running a bath to put Playdoze to use, I first cut the log of a
bubble bar in half. Using the entire thing is wasteful, because I have
found that with all Lush bubble bars, using half produces more than
enough bubbles. Why use the whole thing in one sitting?
After cutting it in half, I ran a tub of water and crumbled Playdoze
under the running water. Slowly the tub began to fill up with nice
mounds of bubbles.
Unfortunately after soaking for a few short minutes, Playdoze's
bubbles began to die out at a rapid rate. The bubbles also failed to
release any notes of scent either.
Most bubbles bars I have used from Lush have long lasting bubbles, Playdoze however was a dud in my opinion.
  Overall:

In my opinion Playdoze is one you may want to skip. The scent is weak
and strange, and completely scentless when it gets into the water. The
bubbles are also not long lasting at all, and whats the point of using a
bubble bar if it cannot even create long lasting bubbles?
