Review of Lush: Humango Bath Bomb

When I was asked what I wanted for Christmas this year, I did not hesitate for a second to ask for Lush goodies. With a $200 limit, I went crazy and ordered things I never would order normally.

Humango Bath Bomb was one of those items.

Humango had always been a want, but seeing that the bath bomb itself came to nearly $14.00 for a 1.5 pound monster of a bath bomb.

Seeing that the normal Lush standard is around 6.3 ounces, I figured I could do without Humango. Like I said though; when given a $200 limit, Humango suddenly became a must have.

Humango itself seems like a pretty standard white colored bath bomb, but that's not considering its massive size. But besides it's massive size, Humango is described as coming packed with Lushes You've Been Mangoed fragrance of lemon grass, lime and lemon essential oils.

It is meant to wake you up, revive you and all that other good energizing stuff.

Humango arrived, and my God did it pack a powerful kick! It nearly saturated the other items I ordered, with a very aromatic overpowering fragrance of lemon drops. Honestly the lemon scent was so string that it was the only scent I could smell when it came to Humango.

Also seeing the bath bomb in its full glory, I was surprised at just how huge the bath bomb was. There was no way I was going to waste this gigantic bomb in one bath, so I actually cut it up into 5 sections, and gave 2 of the large slices to my mom. Seeing that lemon scented things are among her favorite scents, I knew she too would love it, because I absolutely loved it.

In the bath, Humango worked as I imagined. It fizzed away slowly, while releasing a delicious powerful kick of lemon scented gorgeousness to the water.

The bath water also became very soft and silky to the feel, but surprisingly not as silky as other Lush bath bombs.

With that aside though, Humango left it's lemon drop scent all over me after drying up. I could smell lemons in my hair, lemons on my skin, and lemons every time I took in a breath.

Humango though just may not be for everyone, because the lemon scent does tend to stick around longer than some may like, and if you are sensitive to scents for that last long, Humango may not be the bomb for you.

However, if you love lemons, and cannot get enough of them, then Humango is sure to please.

Unfortunately Lush has removed Humango off of their site! The large and in charge bath bomb though can be found on Ebay for around the same price, and in some cases less than what Lush sold them for.
I highly, highly recommend you give this big beast a try. It surely will not disappoint.
