Review: Nexxus Duliste, Dual Benefit Conditioner: Color Protection and Intense Hydration

After falling in love with Nexxus products a short while ago, I wanted to try them all. That is how I am. The moment I find a company I like, I tend to try everything that company has to offer, and when I came across something new from Nexxus, I knew I had to try it.

It is called Nexxus Dualiste, Dual Benefit Conditioner. It came in 2 different dual combinations, but I went with the one that would be best for my hair type. I went with Color Protection, and Intense Hydration.
 
What makes Nexxus Dualiste, Dual Benefit Conditioner: Color Protection, and Intense Hydration so interesting compared to any other conditioner was the way it was bottled. You can clearly see through the bottle inside at the two separate divided chambers. One chamber had a white conditioner on one side, and on the other side of the divided wall a minty blue colored conditioner.

The clever dual pump at the top of the bottle when pressed, will release both conditioners for a dual action conditioning treatment for your hair.

While one works at protecting your hairs color, the other will add the benefit of deep moisturization.

Scent:
 
I was able to get a sniff of the conditioner in the store before buying it. Nexxus Dualiste, Dual Benefit Conditioner: Color Protection, and Intense Hydration has the same coconut almond like scent that many of Nexxus' products have, only it is a little sweeter and reminded me more of pina colada than anything else.

My Use:
 
After shampooing I pressed down on the pump and watched as the conditioner came slowly rushing out of the bottle. The conditioner on one side was a cloudy white in color, and the conditioner on the other had a more minty green coloring to it, than it did blue. I have a lot of hair so I had to press down on the pump quite a few times for a good decent amount of the conditioner.

I applied it to my hair, and let it do its magic. After 3 minutes I rinsed. As I rinsed I was surprised at how it left my hair feeling very very clean, almost to the point that my hair felt rubbery. It made me nervous because I thought it would be hard to brush and style due to the odd feeling it left behind.

Usually conditioners in the shower rinse out leaving behind a silky feeling. Nexxus Dualiste, Dual Benefit Conditioner: Color Protection, and Intense Hydration left behind an overly clean rubbery feeling, which was definitely new.

Results:
 
After getting out of the shower, I was glad to see that the conditioner left my hair very easy to manage. As I dried my hair and styled it, I was delighted with the soft, silky shiny results. No rubbery feeling at all!!! Phew!

Overall:
 
I love it. Although it felt a little odd after rinsing it out, Nexxus Dualiste, Dual Benefit Conditioner: Color Protection, and Intense Hydration worked its magic, leaving behind nothing but shiny, silky hair. It is a winner in my book!

Pricing:
 
Nexxus Dualiste, Dual Benefit Conditioner: Color Protection, and Intense Hydration is a bit pricey. I found a new bottle of it at Walmart priced at $13.93. Its pricey yes, but totally worth the splurge.
