Review of Each Peach (and Two's a Pair) Massage Bar, by Lush

Lush has always been one of my favorite places to pick up bath and body goods. No other company, no matter how hard they try, is even close to being able to capture the refined fragrances that Lush can offer.

Sadly, we do not have a Lush store anywhere near us, so I am forced to order all of my products online without knowing exactly how they work, or smell. I have to basically read every review I can find, and hope my opinion is the same as the person who wrote a positive review about said product.

My boyfriend however had to travel away from home a month ago, and upon his return he had a bag full of Lush treats for me, which I thought was really sweet, because it was unexpected.

In the bag, he picked up a Lush Each Peach (and Two's a Pair) Massage Bar.

Massage bars are always a little messy depending on the consistency of the bar, and how well it absorbs; if it absorbs at all, that is.

Each Peach upon arrival smelled nothing like peach. It had a much more buttery lemon scent to it, that I just loved.

My Use:

Each Peach when rubbed slowly around my body gave off a really milky, and creamy texture that I really liked. It melts on contact with warm skin which is how all massage bars are supposed to work.

There is nothing inside of Each Peach that will leave behind a mess either. Other massage bars sometimes contain seeds for exfoliating, but for the most part are just messy additives that are not really effective in exfoliating anyway. I liked the fact that this massage bar contained no messy extras.

The massage bar does not absorb all that fast, however my other half rubbed it around my back and body and it did over time eventually absorb into my skin. I liked that it absorbed, but mostly worried about it causing bacne, or pimples due to the thick and greasy like texture it had to it, before it absorbed into my skin.

Once absorbed though, my skin felt beyond moisturized, very soft, and of course I smelled like delicious lemon cream pie.

The following day, I was happy to see that my skin still felt soft, and did not break out anywhere.

Overall:

Each Peach leaves behind such a soothing warm lemon scent, and the scent lasts and lasts. It leaves skin soft and moisturized, and is just a perfect little something to have in the bedroom for those days where you feel like relaxing and doing nothing. The scent is like aromatherapy, it's warming, comforting, and long lasting. I leave this one wrapped in it's Lush paper bag, and the scent has flooded the room, so it's a damn good home fragrance as well.
