Review of Limited Edition Donna Karan Cashmere Mist, Liquid Nude, Perfume for Women

Donna Karan Cashmere Mist is probably one of my most top favorite fragrances. The perfume however is a bit pricey, so I will only wear it on special occasions, or formal outings.

When I saw an ad in a magazine however I took notice to it because Cashmere Mist was being displayed in an entirely different bottle. I flipped the page and got a free sample of the newest limited edition of Cashmere Mist. It's called Donna Karan Cashmere Mist, Liquid Nude.

I was excited to give it a try. I peeled the sample page away and rubbed it onto my wrists. Like the original Cashmere Mist, it was love at first sniff, and I knew I had to have it, regardless of the price. I also knew I had to have it fast, because this one is a limited edition, which means it won't be sitting on shelves all of the time.

The Scent:

Cashmere Mist, Liquid Nude smelled very similar to the original Cashmere Mist, however instead of seeping into that soft powdery realm like the original does, Liquid Nude takes on a bit of a darker edge, even though the oink hued bottle would tell you otherwise.

Liquid Nude has a spiced note to it that reminds me of sandalwood. I still prefer the original Cashmere Mist over this newest addition, but I still loved Liquid Nude enough to go out and buy myself a bottle to savior for special occasions, just as I do the original Cashmere Mist.

Last:

Cashmere Mist is a favorite of mine because the scent is alluring and addicting, but mostly I love it because it is a scent that lasts, and lasts all day long, and into the night, and sometimes the next day if sprayed onto a jacket.

Liquid Nude does exactly the same. The last is long, the last is strong, an not to mention it is very addicting, just like its older sister.

Overall:

Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Liquid Nude is a perfect perfume for women who prefer light, dark musky scents that last and last. If you liked Cashmere Mist then you will find a love for Liquid Nude. Like the original though, this perfume does call for a steep price at around $72.00 for a small 1.7 ounce bottle. So yes, it is a scent you will really only want to pull out on special occasions.
