Over the course of the summer, since I do not have any free days
do to my work schedule, I could not make it to the beach, or find the
time to lay out in the sun. Even if I did though, I probably wouldn't
want to expose myself to harmful UV rays anyway.
I watched my family and friends though live it up at the beach all
summer long, and with that comes a beautiful golden tan. Being a good
impersonator for Casper, I decided I wanted a tan, but I did not want to
expose my skin to the sun the way they were all doing it. My skin will
thank me later.
At any rate, I came across numerous self tanning lotions, sprays, and the most recent, a tanning glove which I found at a local Marshall's for $7.00.
The glove was called MODEL Co Tan Self Tanning Glove, and I figured it would be a quicker, neater and easier application than the sprays and expensive tanning milks I was using prior.
My Use:
There MODEL Co Tan Self Tanning Gloves come individually wrapped in packages, and you only need 1 glove for each application. I tore open a package and found a large thin white pad inside. The pad has a slit for you to place your hand, allowing you to easily glide the glove around your skin.
I exfoliated my entire body and face before doing this though, and I suggest you do this whenever you are applying a fake bake tan.
The scent was not bad, in fact it was a decent chocolate cocoa scent like cocoa pebbles, or hot cocoa. The scent lasted too, for quite some time.
The unfortunate thing about the application process is that you cannot see where the formula is going on your skin, so it is all guesswork, and I definitely worried about streaks on my skin due to not being able to see where the formula was.
The Following Morning:
The following day I awoke to a slight bronzed looking tan on my face and neck. The rest of my body though had horrendous streaking. I had dark orange looking globs of streaked skin in many places on my legs, and stomach that I was not at all happy with.
Overall:
It works well on your face, but do not even bother trying to rub this one around your entire body, it streaks, application is easy, but since you cannot see what you are doing making sure you got full coverage on your entire body is difficult.
All in all I'd suggest just skipping out on this one, that ism unless you don't mind streaked stripes on your legs.
