Last week, my mother and I split a package of University Medical FaceLift WrinkleFree Eyes.
Now although I do not suffer from sever wrinkles near my eyes, I notice
that when I smile, I have very fine lines that (although not easily
seen), I recognize, and do not like. I have been battling these little
guys for quite some time now, but even with high end pricey products
like creams and serums, the fix only seems to be temporary. I am OK with
applying creams and serums to my face for the rest of my youth, but
seriously it is tedious.
With a big family event heading our way, we decided to save these
WrinkleFree Eye pads for the day before the event to see if it would
help.
It claimed in 20 minutes, we would have a noticeable lift. Oh boy, I
knew it sounded too good to be true, so we put them to the test.
Applying them is relatively easy, but does require a bit of work on
your part. We had to open the package to find the small patches that
stick to the sides of your eyes. You cannot just peel them off of their
protective paper though, you first must open the small package of
adhesive glue that comes included in the kit.
At first it does not seem like there is enough adhesive in the small
package, but low and behold, there was plenty. We had to squeeze a thin
layer of this adhesive onto the back of the eye patches, in the black
area. Once that is done, you simply stick the patches onto the corners
of your eyes.
It went on, and stuck without a problem, or the need to re-apply them.
We left them on for 20 minutes as directed. As time went on, into the
10 minute mark I was able to feel a slight tingling/heat sensation in
the area. It was uncomfortable, but tolerable. I figured this sensation
on my skin meant the patches were working. My mother also began to feel
the same sensations right around the same time I began complaining about
the tingling.
After 20 minutes, we peeled the patches off. I took a look in the
mirror, and then smiled. My thin fine lines, sadly were still there.
Looking over at my mother though, who had much deeper lines around her
eyes, I was shocked to see that her skin looked more relaxed, smooth,
and dare I say....glowing! They worked some really wonderful wonders for
her eye area, but for me, the results were simply non-existent.
Overall:
University Medical FaceLift WrinkleFree Eyes did not work for my fine
lines, but it seemed to really do a noticeable difference on my moms
deeper wrinkles. I have come to my own conclusion that these eye patches
work better on more sever lines than they do tiny ones, which is weird,
but a very good thing for those with more sever wrinkles in that area.
I would highly recommend these patches to those with wrinkles around
the eyes, but I would suggest skipping them if you only have thin lines
coming in, as it did nothing for me.
