This weekend I found myself doing some Christmas shopping, and decided
to take a quick look in a few of the local antique shops to see what
they would have available. I have a few friends and relatives who
collect crystal, and in antique shops you can never go wrong, as there
is always something for someone. I ended up finding a few things for
others, and bottle of perfume for myself.
This one was completely full, and contained nothing but a logo on the
clear square shaped bottle called Remembrance. I discovered later the
full name of my perfume find, which is Remembrance, Impression of Romance, Perfume for Women.
The perfume inside of the bottle is clear, with a very light tickled
pink tint to it. I did not spray it in the store to test it, as I
figured for $5.00, it was a win or lose, and if it was not something I
liked, I would simply pass it on to my mother who collects perfume like
an addict.
The Scent:
So for $5.00, Remembrance was one heck of a good find. It has a
beautiful light watery scent that has a watery dew like initial scent to
it, followed by a delicious and natural rose hint to it. Once the scent
begins to settle it smells a lot like a bubble bath, which may not
particularly be for everyone, but for most the scent is one that would
easily be enjoyed. It's a spring and summer fragrance, but for those
freezing cold winter days it's a nice picker upper as a reminder of the
warm approaching seasons.
Last:
Remembrance definitely packs last, which was surprising because most
fragrances that pack a powerful last are those that are initially
stronger than this one. Watery scents never really give much of a last
either, but this particular little number lingers around for the
majority of the day, which is refreshing, and with its clean scent it
leaves you feeling clean, even on those days where you may
have...skipped out on a shower? Haha.
Overall:
All in all, I am glad to have found this one. I likely would have
never come across it otherwise. It's a beautiful classy and modern
fragrance with a nice lingering last to it. If you are looking for
something light yet with last, Remembrance will not disappoint. You can
find it up for grabs on Amazon for $9.99, which is well worth it in my
opinion.
