Recently I was sent an entire collection of Sebastian Professional
Volupt hair care items. Within this kit came the Volupt shampoo,
conditioner, and my personal favorite, Volupt Spray.
Basically the collection pumps up the volume. My hair already has a
bit of volume to it, but most of that volume is due to frizz. When I was
sent this collection I was as excited as a kid on his or her first day
of school. I was hoping this collection would pump up the volume, while
keeping the frizz at ease. Plus the more volume the merrier. I have
curly hair, and I love when my hair is as thick and wild as possible.
I will get to the shampoo and conditioner at a later date, because I wanted to tell everyone about this Volupt Spray.
When it comes to sprays to volumize the hair, I have never been
impressed by anything I have come across. Either it does not work,
leaves a sticky residue, or adds frizz and not volume.
When I used Volupt Spray though, I have to say I went into it thinking
this spray would be just like all the rest, another mediocre product to
throw back onto a shelf, or let collect dust in an old box in the
basement. Never to be resurrected for use again.
Not this stuff though, oh no.
It is directed to spray it onto the roots and down on damp hair. I
sprayed it onto dry hair and onto damp hair and both times, I was
majorly impressed with the results.
On dry hair, I literately watched the hair on my scalp rise up into a
more bouncy airy manner giving instant volume. I seriously have never
been more impressed with a spray before.
On damp hair the results were even more far out, with enough volume to
practically give myself an Afro. Granted I have thick hair already,
Volupt Spray pumped up the volume by a few notches, and left me dazzled
with how thick and full my hair looked.
As far as frizz goes, it was still present, but not horrendously, and
it was nothing a few squirts of hairspray couldn't keep down.
Overall:
If you are looking to pump up the volume instantly then I would
highly, highly suggest giving Volupt Spray a try, I do not think you
will be disappointed.
