I went on a lipstick and lip gloss hunting spree this weekend, and
besides a small handful of other lipsticks and colors, within the mix I
picked up a tube of Rimmel London, Lipstick in the color Kiss (036). The
reason was because this lipstick was the lowest priced tube in the
bunch.
Now in the store I could not test the color Kiss out, because the lid
was covering the color, and all I had to go by as far as color was
concerned was the small round sticker that supposedly represents the
color. For the $1.93 I was about to spend though, I figured why not? If
the color sucked, I'd pop that top back on and get myself a refund.
The Color:
Once home I finally got to put Kiss to the test, to see if I had chosen wisely.
Luckily Kiss was beautiful. It's a lovely metallic deep pink colored
lipstick that does in fact shine and leave lips looking vibrant and
colorful, without being too pink, or tacky looking. It worked perfectly,
and the color looks great on lips.
The Texture:
Seeing that Rimmel London Lipstick, Kiss was under $2.00, I thought
the lipstick would be hard, or feature nasty texture or have some sort
of issue. Thankfully there were no problems at all, and it was the best
$2.00 lipstick I think I've ever come across.
It leaves the lips feeling moisturized and sheer, with no signs of thick heaviness, or greasy textures left behind.
Last:
The last is not very long lived, and the lipstick will fade off if you
are drinking something. However as the color fades it leaves your lips
slightly kissed pink, which matches well considering the name of the
color.
You will need to re-apply throughout the day but not very often.
Overall:
For the low, low price this lipstick goes for, and due to how well it
works I'd suggest this one to just about anyone looking for a new pink
lip color.
