I purchased Soap & Glory Spa, Return to Slender Body Contouring Gel
simply because I fell in love with the original Soap & Glory scent.
When I got a closer look at the tube though I realized it was one of my
favorite scents and slendering gel as well.
When I got home to use it, I realized the scent was definitely not the
original Soap & Glory scent I knew and loved. I guess when I took a
close look at it at the store, I failed to realize the SPA logo on the
tube.
Package Description:
Soap & Glory Spa, Return to Slender Body Contouring Gel comes
packages in a retro looking cardboard box. Most of Soap & Glory
products come in retro packages with a black and white photograph of a
woman on it. Soap & Glory Spa, Return to Slender Body Contouring Gel
though does not have any photo on it. Just a description of what the
product is, and does.
Promise:
According to the box, using this on your upper arms, and thighs would
make them look much tighter. Basically the promise is to reduce the look
of cellulite on your thighs and upper arms.
Soap & Glory Spa, Return to Slender Body Contouring Gel claims that in 56 days the results will pretty much amaze you.
Scent:
Instead of the angelic powdery scent I knew and loved from the
original Soap & Glory line, I was instead greeted with a much more
harsh minty fresh cool scent. It was not a bad scent, in fact it was
pretty good, and definitely gave off an 'I'm at the spa' vibe. Although I
was hoping this gel would smell like the original formula, it was a
scent that I could live with, and perhaps even fall in love with over
time.
My Use:
Soap & Glory Spa, Return to Slender Body Contouring Gel is a blue
gel that goes on easily. Due to the mint that is obviously in it, it
also has a cooling/tingling effect that you will feel a few seconds
after applying it.
Overall it feels really nice on skin, and absorbs at a decent rate. It
did however leave behind a slight greasy texture; the texture though
will absorb in a few moments.
I have used other cellulite gels that absorbed into my skin instantly
without leaving any reside behind. Soap & Glory Spa, Return to
Slender Body Contouring Gel does the same, but it takes a little longer
to absorb.
Long Term Use, Are There Any Results?
All in all I have managed to keep using Soap & Glory Spa, Return
to Slender Body Contouring Gel for about 3 weeks now, and have yet to
see any significant differences. The spa scent sticks with you for about
10 minutes and then it is gone.
I have continued using it mostly for the scent, which puts me in an
upbeat mood, however as far as actually working the way it was supposed
to work, Soap & Glory Spa, Return to Slender Body Contouring Gel
fails.
The best thing about Soap & Glory Spa, Return to Slender Body
Contouring Gel though is that is cools the skin after using it. I enjoy
slapping some on my body after a hot bath.
Overall:
Soap & Glory Spa, Return to Slender Body Contouring Gel; it has a
nice scent, leaves skin feeling nice and cool, but as far as that it
doesn't do much of anything else, and it certainly won't improve your
skins 'bumpy' areas.
I recommend you skip it.
If you still feel the desire though to try it even if it is just for
the scent, you can pick up a tube at Target for around $15.00. As of now
though only the store is carrying Soap & Glory Spa, Return to
Slender Body Contouring Gel. The site does not have it listed.
