Styling Tips for Women with Frizzy Hair

Unless an afro is the hair style you are looking to sport, frizzy hair has never been in, and likely never will be. Not only is frizz unflattering, but it also feels gross.

Frizzy wild curly hair with a ton of body is very flattering, but unless you have that hair type achieving it on your own will be difficult without first getting a perm. During hot humid days, those with frizzy hair are prone to having the frizz pop up in a very nasty ways. However, there are numerous things you can do in order to ensure that your frizz prone hair remains frizz proof even on hotter humid days.

The first tip of course will require a hair straightener. Running a straightener through your hair will tame any frizz, or signs of frizz. Your hair will remain frizz proof till you shower next. Straightening your hair is honestly the best solution to keeping your hair frizz-less.

If you do not have the time to invest in straightening your hair, you can use other products to reduce frizz, but they definitely will not kill all of the frizz. Products will only make the frizz less dramatic.

The first being hair spray. Fast drying hair spray will work wonders as far as taming frizz goes.

After styling your hair to your liking, simply spray on a decent amount of hair spray and press your frizzes flat with your hand. The frizz will remain pressed down for the majority of the day. I recommend buying a travel sized bottle in order to do touch ups throughout the day.

The next products you can use to kill some frizz are special shampoos and conditioners that promise to reduce frizz.

Not all of them will work 'as promised', but I find that many smoothing shampoos and conditioners from Pantene work really well as far as leaving hair smooth, and less frizzy.

Another product you may want to pick up is John Frieda's Frizz Ease. There frizz ease balms work the best, but when paired up with leave in sprays, and shampoos and conditioners, your hair will remain ass frizz free as possible.

The last product that has been getting rave reviews and lots of attention is called No Frizz by Living Proof. There special No Proof products block humidity, which is the primary cause of frizzy hair.

The best solution to frizzy hair though is by far the straightener. Using a good straightener will keep your hair frizz free. I recommend the Chi iron, but it is very expensive. For a cheaper and just as effective iron go with a Remington. They work just as well, and cost half the price of a Chi.
